The first image you see is a view of Kata Beach with the infamous Koh Poo (crab island) from the mountain on the way coming from Chalong Circle to most, Kata is a different in appearance from Karon or Patong. The beach itself is broad and curving, and structures bordering it are low-rise. The water are perfect for swimming, and at the north end is a coral reef with many varied corals and fishes that stretches out toward Koh Poo Island, about 0.5 km. off shore in front of Kata Beach Resort.
