Adjacent to the resort is the small island of Matlang where snorkeling is fun, you may want to take a full day out either to the Angtong National Marine Park, or Koh Phangyan. Both are spectacular trips. Around the Island there are motorised water sports facilities. On the Island there are waterfall's butterfly farm, snake farms, crocodile shows, as well as a wide selection of Buddhist temples. The pub will be opened at 11:00 a.m. to 01:00 a.m. just after the breakfast rush has closed down: enjoy sports and life entertainment.

A relaxing and undisturbed location with a scenic view onto the bay, enjoy one of our cocktails or just try a single malt or just a Gin and tonic, while waiting for your Guests.
The Pool Deck Bar:
Is the place to be away form the scorching mid day sun, sipping ice cold shakes, blends, cold beers and soft drinks its up to you, feel the chill as you sip on a traditional beer Singha.
Kandaburi Resort & Spa is in tune with its environment form the day it was designed, the owner Khun Pamuke was intense and still is with the environment and how we can save and maintain the beauty Thailand has to offer our customers.
The resort itself:
The roofs have been designed so that rain water is captured and collected in a storage tanks beneath the resort, this way we are able to harvest the monsoon season, for our deep wells along with usinging this water for the gardens.
A storm drain has been constructed along the border of the resort running down to the beach; the run off water from the resort will not touch or erode the beach it will be pumped back with two pumps to our hill side ponds, this selection of ponds are for recycling our water as well as a landscaping feature with lotus, and a wide selection of water plants and fish for our guests to walk through in the evenings.
Electricity
A key drop system would be used to turn on and off the lights, when the Guest is in their rooms, and when you leave you just simply take this key with you.
Upon a guest request we shall offer them a second key slot if they would like to have their air con on while they are away. (We graciously ask our customers to assist us in keeping the costs of lights down and to assist the country as whole in an energy saving mode daily)
Recycling:
The entire staff and management team are dedicated to protecting the environment. This is an on going process, which must be adhered to at every level and with complete co-operation and commitment of each and every staff member. Fortunately, all staff members at Kandabuir Resort & spa understand this well.
In every staff room, corridor we have bins for each article. The resorts is divided into four teams. These four teams work at recreation, sports, Environment and the community participation from here they are awarded points for recycling all their old items as well as team participation when called for.
The staff benefit from our recycling program as the returns are collected to their funds to purchase sports items, make donations for the community etc.
Recycling - Lakes:
Three lakes have been designed to collect the waster water that will filter naturally over time, this is coated with the waster water system and tanks. When a natural Bacteria is added weekly to aid absorption as well as breaking down solids.
Wet land:
The laundry will be a separate-separating system where a wet land, a natural filtration tank has been created from natural products to break down the Chemical waste of laundry water this project come from a Recycle Project of his majesty the king. (Phrabat Somdej Phra Paraminthara Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej)
